Mother Eunice, Sister Amore, and their friend came to The Museum of Catholic Art and History to dress one of our mannequins as a Bridgettine sister. Sister Amore named her Sister Isabel! Come visit the Museum to see the beautiful mannequins and all of the rich Catholic art right in downtown Columbus!
On Feb 11th over 50 couples gathered at the Bridgettine Convent to celebrate their love and commitment to the sacrament of marriage. The evening started with Holy Mass at Holy Family where they renewed their vows and concluded at the convent enjoying Cafe Davinci’s and a reflection given by Father Stash. It was a beautiful evening when many people met the Bridgettine Sisters for the 1st time and experienced the peace and joy that they bring to so many!
Kicking off 2023 going to “Bethlehem with the Bridgettines!” Over 100 women enjoyed Holy Mass, breakfast, fellowship, and a beautiful reflection by Fr. Stash Dailey on Saturday the 7th of January.
‘Bethlehem means ‘place of bread, place of food, place of substance! So many in this world are starving and they don’t even know they are hungry!’ Come, encounter Jesus in the crib and he will feed you like never before and you will better understand Jesus on the Cross!
Authentic Catholic formation is a guarantee at the Columbus’ Bridgettine Convent! Christmas came alive as we journeyed to Bethlehem with the Sisters. Their charism is to bring unity to the Church, Adore our Lord, and provide hospitality and all who attended were blessed with witnessing all of these charisms on Saturday!

Tomorrow is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, it is the anniversary of the re-founding of the Bridgettine Order. As such, it is when the Order’s postulants will receive the holy habit as well as a new name and enter the novitiate.

In Rome, Mother Fabia will clothe the first American vocation in decades in the habit and give her a new name in religion. It’s an exciting day! Laura Ruffner entered the Order from Columbus after she graduated from OSU. She was a member in SPO Ohio.

Locally we will celebrate Sr Fabiola’s 25th anniversary of vows! Stay tuned for pictures of the celebration!

A wonderful group of women enjoyed a Saturday morning mini-retreat at the Bridgettine Convent on May 14th. Fr. Stash shared a beautiful reflection and a panel of mothers of Seminarians and priests shared their wisdom of raising young men to hear the call of God.
